What is the PAYT Program?
PAYT is a Pay-As-You-Throw trash collection
program tailored to smaller families and/or
serious recyclers who have minimal trash.
With PAYT, your cost is based on how much you recycle
versus how much you throw away. Simply put: the more you recycle, the less you pay. We are seeking to stress the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling
everything from soda bottles to yard trimmings.
Can I get yard waste collection?
PAYT customers can still use our normal yard waste program. Call us at 410-795-2595 or visit our Pricing Page for more information.
How will my disposal
Customers choosing to make a difference by using this program
must attach a PAYT tag to each 33-gallon trash bag placed at the curb or in a trash can.

Will you recycle my
Yes! CCWS operates a free, Christmas tree recycling program.

Why was this program developed?
The PAYT program is environmentally friendly, and it helps us reach our goal of reducing the amount of refuse put into Carroll County landfills while increasing the amount of material we recycle. This benefits not only our community but our world as a whole. This special service is only available in the 21784 zip code.
